What a great NFL Sunday it was. I'm surprised the Green Bay Packers won by only 7 points after Bears QB Jay Cutler came out of the game early in the 3rd quarter with a knee injury. Many current and former NFL players, media and fans are really doubting Jay's toughness. I was amazed Jay didn't continue playing in the biggest game of his life. If you read back on this column you will see that I was very disappointed when Jay had the fallout with Denver Broncos former coach Josh McDaniels. I had but more blame on McDaniels than Cutler.
In the AFC Championship game the New York Jets were well down at 1/2 time 24 to 0. They came back in the 2nd half and nearly defeated the Steelers.
In Super Bowl XLV on Feb 6 in Dallas at Jerry Jones magnificent new stadium, Green Bay Packers are favourites at -2.5 over Pittsburgh Steelers on sportsinteraction.com. I just placed $5 on Packers. It will be interesting to see which way this line moves up until game time. Lots more coming to this section,
